The number 10 writes everything concerning his soccer career, and another few personal issues. Maradona starts from “Fiorito”(Buenos Aires, Argentina), where he was born and raised by a poor family.   I saw this in the library one day and took it out. All I knew about Maradona was the "Hand Of God" and solo goal in the same match. I decided to try this book."
  
  It's a bit hard to digest this book as it's translation means it may not have the same feel asin it's original language. I had Maradona slang and words, which gave it a great personal feel and made it seem better. Maradona just tells it as he experienced it, which does make it better than I expected. I do see his point in some bits, especially when he mentioned how cocaine DOESN'T help your energy like steroids does, if my memory remembers my science right, because if that's true, he shouldn't have gooten banned.
  
  It's not too long, not too short and has some humourous situations in it, which lightened the subject matter. I would like to see him bring out a new version with new chapters of whats happened since. This book is good as it does give you food for thought, which Maradona probably enjoyed.
• This autobiography by Maradona, undoubtly one of the best soccer players in the world is really cautivating for anyone who loves soccer. He wrote it in this past months, during his treatment in Habana, Cuba. If you liked Maradona, like I did, you'll like him even more now, if you hated him like many people do, you'll maybe understand many of the problems he's had in his life. It is very interesting to see the human side of an idol and how he lived in the moments of glory and pain through out his wonderful career. Many untold stories are revealed and you can catch a glimpse of the world outside the stadium. Honestly a very good book, that every soccer fan should read, maybe more than once.
